Sisters, I am wondering if you have noticed this:

OK, I know this is touchy, and perhaps it is just me but, I feel that sometimes, I am responded to by some brothers on DTSpace in a way, less than Christlike because I am a woman. For those brothers who know me, they will tell you that I am not a feminist at all except for things like voting rights and equal pay for equal work.  I posted these passages to show that GOD views men and women with the same value. I joyfully accept my position and my role as a women and am not in any way trying to lead the brothers with my postings. I only post things from my experiences and heart to share what I have learned with you. You may choose to disagree with me and you have that option. However, if you choose to disagree because GOD made me a women, please rememeber that the ground is level at the foot of the cross. According to Paul we are to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. It is a two way street. I understand that wives are to submit to thier husbands as to the LORD and that is also part of GOD's design for peace. No sister is obligated to submit to a brother, simply becasue he is a man, except in the case of marriage.  

Genesis 1:27

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Exodus 20:12“

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

“And he who strikes his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Ephesians 5:22

[ Wives and Husbands ] Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.

Anyone who responds to anyone or anything in a nonChristian manner is having personal problems. Think about it.

i agree to what you just said sis,i want to add something that sometimes we are missing that's why sometimes we fail to understand each other...yes, we are all here,called sons and daughters of God,it is because of god's undying love for us,as sons and daughters of god...hebrews10:23-25,proverbs3:3-5..and most that sometimes we miss is guarding each other's heartd..proverbs4:23.God created men and women in a unique way,as women we are to respect each other as well the brothers....to be united at heart,,,Godbless you all...
