Our 15 yr. old son, Cody was baptized Aug. 12, 2009!! I had asked for your prayers months ago and want to thank you all who prayed for him and for all who will pray for him now. Truly, God's grace and the prayers of all the saints has helped Cody to overcome. Now the work begins! As parents we had to learn and repent (and continue to) and become active in our son's salvation. We can't leave it up to the teen leaders.

A big thanks to Dave Wolff for his huge dedication to our son! His time, effort, money (treating Cody to lunches, dinners, WaWa shakes), love, wisdom and humility to become whatever he needed in order to be used by God.

A big, big thanks goes out to Louis and Debora Childs for their example of how to be teen parents and helping us to learn and repent. Their teens, Curtis and Keonte for their input, love and example. They convicted me by letting me know that Mom and Dad's fight for their salvation is a battle that has to be fought hard and won.

Other people of course were instrumental like Dan Beaty, Tom Lombardi, James and Kim Campbell, Brady Knight, Matt Aubert (Brady and Matt are teen disciples).

A special thanks goes out to my husband, Steve, for his love as a father. He was humble and listened to me and my concerns and acted immediately to get advice and make things happen to ensure the battle was being fought on all fronts for our son. He wasn't perfect of course, but when repentance needed to happen and apologies made, he humbly and sincerely made it happen. He was patient with me and a loving example of a Godly husband. Thank you Steve for our late-night talks when you listened to me, truly listened. I know this because you were able to recall the important thoughts and feelings I was trying to communicate even at 3 am! I pray to be more and more of the mother and wife God meant for me to be for our boys and you.

I'm thankful for this forum. Being able to express my tearful thanks to all of the saints around the world that prayed for us and continue to pray.
