My Husband's mother suffered an ruptured intestine several weeks ago at the end of a family vacation (June 21). It was initially misdiagnosed and she was sent home on antibiotics for something completely different. Once they got her back into the ER after 2 days, the surgeon that was flown in said she was literally just hours from dying, and after several surgeries, and complications with infection, she is doing very well and was released from the hospital after about 2.5 weeks. MANY people have been praying for her and the outcome has been amazing. We are so grateful for how God has been with Dave's family during this time. She'll have to undergo at least one more surgery in a few months.
