LEADERSHIP

Sharisse Lucas London 
I just need to get a spouse visa now. Marvin could stay b/c he is from the U.K The kids could too! They almost sent me right back home! We r looking for a place to stay now. This is our first priority! So much hungs on being able to "prove residency." Also, pray we find a reliable cheap car.

We are in the East London church for now. Next summer we will start a church in Norwhich

I am a single mom to a handsome, talented, and healthy young man. the thing is, i've been praying for years for him to see God and understand God's love for him and so far his heart has not been moved. i have turned to brothers and leaders for help and advice and come away empty-handed - so i struggled with the hurt from the lack of concern and love for my son. the sad thing is that my son has never known the love and acceptance in church that i have experienced. i finally stopped insisting that he come to church when he turned to me and said, "mom, why do you want me to go someplace where no one likes me unless i do what they say?"

my prayer request is to ask God to reveal Himself in all of His love and acceptance, to my son. for God to place a strong and faithful disciple in my son's path, willing to meet him where he is at and strong enough to love unconditionally. i so desperately want my son to have loving relationships in the kingdom and to see faith in action, not in lip service... thank you in advance for lifting this up in prayer on my (and my son's behalf).

Maggie Jenkins Perhaps the focus and highlight of the day was the prayer for and sending off of disciples to a new frontier and a church planting. Niles Radl and Maggie Jenkins were sent by the Spirit from the Boston campus ministry to the Pioneer Valley congregation to prayerfully penetrate the great campuses of that region – U Mass, Amherst; Smith College, Springfield College; etc.

On Friday, while at a family reunion in California, Tom Winter went home to be with Jesus. He died in a tragic drowning accident. Terri, his wife, and their five children will remain in San Diego for a burial service before returning to Dallas for a memorial service. They are dearly loved both in San Diego and Dallas and are an exceptional family and incredibly loved. We celebrate Tom’s life and will miss him greatly because of his exemplary life as a disciple of Christ, husband, father, servant, and friend.

Please pray for Terri and their five wonderful children.
