Hi,

I am Karen Pitts and my husband is in the navy. He is leaving for his first deployment in a couple days and he will be gone for 7 months. We have to children ages 5 and 7. I was just starting this topic forum to see who else is out there that is going through this same thing and wants to talk to me about it. we can share ideas together and help each other through this time.

Hi Karen and JEnnifer.  I see your posts were written in Aug. but I am new to DT and just found this.  My husband is in the Navy as well, and wil be stationed in DamNeck, then Norforlk soon.  Karen I hope you are holding up with your hubby gone.  We have been through one deployment with a then 4 year old daughter.  Anyway, I hope to get to know you both better and be able to hang out when ever we get there. (Sometime next year)
