Hello members,

Wanted to touch base with you and go over a couple of quick things about the message boards here.  We have been so encouraged by all the great discussions that have been going on in this area of the site.  It's purpose is to encourage, connect, answer questions, invoke deep conversations and be a Safe place for us to support each other in our walk with god.

As of late there have been a couple of subjects that have come up that may not be so appropriate for this site and inline with it's purpose.  I am a true believer in the right to free speech and that it should be preserved in a 'public forum', but please keep in mind that this is a 'private site' and a 'private forum' that is designed to serve our members.  All posts must be inline with our terms and conditions and will be subject to deletion if those terms and conditions are violated.  This is in place to protect our members and our website community at whole.  I have made a promise with building this site that my first priority would to be to protect the site from inappropriate content, gossip & divisive conversations that have the potential to hurt the hearts of the disciples on this site.

Up to this point the conversations for the most part have been harmonious and thought provoking, everything was going along smoothly, so I had not been on top of every thread like I should have been.  Many of you have emailed me recently concerning a few stray members and topic threads, I thank you for keeping on top of this and protecting the site.  This is all of ours to protect, we want this to be a tool that unites disciple world wide and is a SAFE place for all of us to talk, share, connect & encourage one another.

So, I have taken some action to delete a couple of threads, I had to delete a couple of rough profiles that were obvious fakes and cleaned up the message boards a bit.  I have discovered that the 'Delete' button is a great tool for preserving the integrity and safety of DTSpace.  As the site continues to grow, although we try to catch everything and stay on top of everything that happens here, it is impossible to catch it all.  So if all of us as members will help to keep this a safe place by reporting any suspicious activity that would be a great help.  Many of you have been a great help with this and we thank you.  If any of you have been discouraged, felt attacked or anything that has hindered your walk in any way by some of the recent posts, I truly apologize and want to let you know that we are on top of it.  Although we will still need your help as I can't be online 24/7.  If and when an issue arises, please notify us and we will deal with the situation as soon as possible.

On a brighter note.  There are some MAJOR upgrades that will be coming soon to enhance the functions of DTSpace.  Keep checking your email for those updates and upgrades.  If you have anything you would like to see added to the site feel free to post it here or send us a quick note through the 'Contact Us' link.
