That's spanish for Invincible, and that was the name of the summer camp that HOPE PR has run for a second consecutive year. (Invencible: El poder de lo que crees, or Invincible: The power of what you believe in)

The main purpose of this camp is to offer kids from project homes a free camp were they can improve their self esteem, leadership, and be able to conquer their fears, through workshops and field trips. Both year, volunteers from Atlanta, and Athens Georgia helped us make this.

But last summer was a bit different, since most of the volunteers where teens, not yet disciples. Which at first, I must admit that I thought it was going to be an additional challenge.

But the results at the end of camp were amazing! I feel I made a lot of little brothers and sisters (who wanted to stay in Puerto Rico) and the example set by many brothers and sister inspired a campus student to open up her heart. She started studying the Bible shortly after arrving back at Atlanta, and a few weeks ago she got baptized!

It was so encouraging to know we not only made an impact on the project house kids, but also on the volunteers that came to help us too.
