Metro Bohol Christian Church is grateful to God. We want to praise him for he is awesome.

This May 30, 2010 the church here will celebrate our 2nd year anniversary and it is all because of God grace. The church turn 2 years and God has been faithful in spite of our unworthiness God made us all faithful to him. God has been supplying what we need spiritually, his loved sustain each day for us, his mercy and grace remind us of who we really are and that we need him in our lives. He has been our comfort, refuge in time of troubles and he give us strength when we are down. He give us eternal encouragement. Yes it is not an easy life. But please continue to pray for us to be worthy of his calling and that no matter what we will remain steadfast in him. Faithful and strong in the Lord regardless in whatever situation we are facing. Prayerfully God will use every single one of us to bring him glory. In our personal life and in helping people get to know him.

Thank you GOD for you are FAITHFUL AND TRUE. To God be the glory!! from MBCC

Justa quick thought. I've seen over the last 13 years that at any given time, when struggling to repent, at the top of the world or just crawling along - praising God is always necessary. When down, it lifts my soul to the heights of God, away from the carnality of my body, when up it helps my spirit rejoice in God and even retain joy so much more, and when I'm just getting along spiritually, it helps me know that greater than achievement is recognising our God for He is, what He's done and who He loves.
God can always be celebrated. May I have the heart of Job to do so when I lose everything. The heart of David to praise when I sinned. The heart of Jesus to praise because God is my Father.

“Jesus is Lord!” is a declaration of commitment and devotion that arouses passion and tears. Both sentiments resounded in Gainesville, FL as the youngest and oldest people in our 10-year history were baptized into Christ. Emily Sun, 12, and Edith Hunter, 92, were baptized a week apart from each other but now share an eternal destination.

We prayed for a sign. God gave it by giving me a green card against all odds. I had a police record for preaching in India, as a result I did not have clearance from the police, and to top it all off I did not have money but God moved in spite of all these barriers
Now in 2010, the call came to go return to the full-time ministry and move to Grand Rapids, Michigan. At first we dismissed the idea as crazy.
the needs of His church on our hearts. There is no question – we will seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness. We are building His kingdom and not our own and opening the door to anyone who wants to join in the rebuilding. We are going where He sends us. So be praying for our journey as we give up everything and go again. http://www.disciplestoday.org/content/view/2159/42/

We have 30 days and counting to be in Chicago, pray for us as we go thru the transition from Chicago to Grand Rapids, MI

Womens' Day: At the end, the fellowship was electrifying! Women embracing, crying, thankful, moved by what they had encountered. We ended on a high and could not have asked for more.

LEADERSHIP

The Orlando Church of Christ is presently seeking a Lead Evangelist (and a wife who can lead the women’s ministry). We are looking for a man who is full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit, strong in pulpit and leadership skills, and committed to do the work of an evangelist as he leads the church and the staff.

The Cleveland Church of Christ has a great, full-time ministry opportunity for a married couple or two single interns to help build our youth and singles ministry

The Dallas Fort Worth Church is currently looking to hire an experienced ministry couple to lead an adult region of about 150 plus people. While leading their own region, the couple will work closely with a team of two other evangelists and women’s ministry leaders and three elders along with their wives.
We are also looking for young, zealous college graduates to serve teen ministries and campus ministries as full-time paid interns.

Please pray for my husband of 13 years to fall in love with Jesus, again.
Please pray for my 17 yr. old daughter, who is studying the Bible to not be shaken in her faith, and to be baptized with a deep love for God and His Word. Please also pray for my two of my family members. My step sister lost her sister (Tammie) on Jan. 25th from blood clots to the lungs. My biological sister lost her son last year in March.
They are both really hurting and trying to heal from these tragedies.

I also started a Personal Chef Service. I have two clients and so far they really enjoy my food. I pray for at least 4 more clients who will use my service at least once a month. Thank you and God bless.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.

GREAT COMMISSION
World Evangelization

 MUNICH GERMANY
Here are some specific prayer requests for the Munich church:

  • That God opens our hearts to understand more of his character, his love and the shining light of the good news
  • To grow in seeing the world through his eyes
  • That we learn more to be motivated and "educated" by grace and God's love
  • That the kingdom grows inward and we turn more and more away from the word and fix our eyes on Jesus
  • That we grow in our compassion for the lost, and that God will add especially younger people to His kingdom
  • For five teens who are studying the bible: Dorian, Eric, Alica, Elisa and Bernadet
  • For our leadership team: humble hearts, deep friendships, unity, desire to stay focused on God´s will and his kingdom
  • That those who desire to become elders grow in character and faith
  • That God puts it on some disciples' hearts to serve full-time
  • That we can start new churches in Germany soon
  • That the counseling courses this summer and the marriage course this fall will bear much fruit in those who attend
  • To deepen our friendships and connections we already have with all the German-speaking churches and the European churches
  • For those who are permanently sick: Bernhard, Sabine, Anne, Claudia, Michaela, Riccardo and Stephan. That God strengthens their faith in Him, that we as brothers and sisters grow in loving and serving them

Thank you so much for your prayers! Your are in our our prayers as well.

it is heartbreaking to see that for nearly 3 years, one of our Singles' Ministry sister, Maricar Macalintal, is painfully suffering from kidney failure ...We wish not only to sustain her dialysis procedures weekly but also to have her undergo kidney transplant operation as soon as all resources are completed. The operation alone costs more or less P2,000,000.00 not to mention her medication after the operation.
