We had our Men's Day service today. My brother was supposed to go but he flaked. He kind of blamed me for not reminding him but I think he wasn't really willing to go and be reminded that he needs to change his life. Other than that, though, it was very encouraging to be there as an usher and see the many men who came to hear God's Word be preached. I was happy for the brothers and hoped they were truly encouraged by the fruits of their hard work. We ran out of food and had to get more, though. I guess men just eat a lot! And it was funny seeing the differences between the Men's Day and the Women's Day. When we were putting response cards on the tables, in front of each seat this sister who was also an usher wanted to know if there were going to be centerpieces. I was cracking up! I was like, "Uh, no. Men aren't into that sort of thing." After doing that I went outside with another sister to pray for the service and that hearts would be open.

I'm on my way to meet with my group for communion.

That's awesome Catgrrrl.  It takes a special person to be able to serve in any capacity for God's Church.  I really respect that.

Nate
