What are some curriculum that kids kingdom coordinators are using lately?  We still use the church curriculum, but has anyone changed and to what?  Any ideas?

I don't have the company name with me, but we use a different one. Since children are in service with us (above age 3), their class in about 45-50 minutes, same as the adult bible class. The new curriculum requires less materials for crafts and does life application a bit differently. The drawback is that there is no lesson for those 3 and under. My wife is currently modifying the Kindegarden lesson down to their level. Everyone else loves it.

We only made the change this summer, otherwise, we've been using the church curriculum since the church here started (Omaha). The two main reasons were something new and certain lesson needing some work. For example, I taught 3rd and 4th grade the book of Revelation per curriculum for two Sundays. A parent let me know that all her child knew was that we were studying scary things in Bible Class.

Hope that helps. I'll get the company name tomorrow.

We've been using the church curriculum for quite a few years (in Madison, WI).  This fall we're going to be starting a new one!  It will be a combination of three of Group Publishing's curriculums -- FaithWeavers, FaithWeaver Friends, and Grapple.  It will cover the infants through 5th graders.  The preteen workers come up with their own stuff for the preteens and the teens sit in the regular service with the rest of the adults.  It has been a lot of work to put it together (ongoing!).  My wife and I took over leading the ministry this spring (we're not on staff).  We're really excited for the new curriculum and think it will take the kids to the next step in their spiritual growth.  Send me a message in a couple months and ask me how it's going! :-)

Hi everyone, Since we don't have that church curriculum, I'm making the 'need-of-the-moment' lessons for the teens and pre-teens here in Cagayan de Oro City, Phils...I  also made lessons in preparation for their first principles study. However, if anyone could share me that 'church curriculum' for teens  and pre-teens  i would be glad  to impart it to  the kids here.
