I was wonering if any of you out there work or volunteer for the American Red Cross, or your your countries Red Cross.

I am an Instructor of several courses. The Red Cross is an amazing institution. It is one of the top 5 charity organizations in the world. And most of it's money goes to the people it was meant to. Administrative costs are extrememly low. Please consider volunteering or working for your local Red Cross. The money and/or time you donate will go directly to your local community.

Since its founding in 1881 by visionary leader Clara Barton, the American Red Cross has been the nation's premier emergency response organization. As part of a worldwide movement that offers neutral humanitarian care to the victims of war, the American Red Cross distinguishes itself by also aiding victims of devastating natural disasters. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, always with the aim of preventing and relieving suffering. Today, in addition to domestic disaster relief, the American Red Cross offers compassionate services in five other areas: community services that help the needy; support and comfort for military members and their families; the collection, processing and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products; educational programs that promote health and safety; and international relief and development programs.

Over the year, the ICRC provided food for more than 2.8 million people and emergency supplies such as tents and blankets for almost 3.3 million people; its water, sanitation and construction projects supported 15 million people; around 3.4 million, more than half of them children, benefited from ICRC supported health care facilities; delegates visited 494,540 people deprived of their freedom in 2,387 places of detention in 83 countries; in collaboration with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around 667,000 messages were exchanged between family members separated by hostilities and other crises.

Hi sis!

It is great to meet you. I'm a volunteer for the Red Cross in Oklahoma (ARCOK) and I love it!

Here at your service! Laughing
