As the heat starts to rise, the devil’s plot thickens
Jobs become burdens, like bills
Cheating becomes second nature to husbands, like breathing
Emptiness quickly overtakes the wives heart, like a plague
Children swiftly invent deceitful plans, like thieves
Diamonds become tainted with blood, like knives
As time for leisure increases, the evil one’s campaign begins
Like a hunter, he searches for those who are weak
Like an animal, he preys on those asleep
Like a coach, he recruits those who will join his team
Like a professor, he infiltrates the minds of those who will take heed
Like a scorned lover, he plots revenge like no other
As vacations approach an inevitable end, the deceiver plants seeds that produce death
Schools, like prisons, become a capstone for terrorists
Churches, like mines, explode leaving those designed for inhabitance destitute
Trunks, like trenches, are used as a haven for snipers
Airplanes, like missiles, are launched as weapons of war
Parents, like pedophiles, betray their children
When will the summertime end?
