Congratulations everyone we are approaching 4000 members at DTSpace. Thank you for your continued support.
A couple of new features that have been added. - The first is the 'Tell A Friend' feature. You will find this in the header section of every page. Run your cursor over it and a window will open up. Through this you can connect directly to your Facebook, Tweeter, Yahoo email & IM, Gmail, Hotmail, etc.. it loads all your contacts in so you simply have to choose who you would like to invite and press send, it's that easy.
PLEASE NOTE: The 'Tell A Friend' feature works best when using Internet Explorer, you may experience problems logging in to facebook and such if your using FireFox.
We would love to ask you if you can use the new 'Tell A Friend' feature to invite at least 10 disciples in your life that are not currently on dtspace to join. We would like to double our members by the end of the year and we can't do it without your help.
Second, the profile fields on your profile have been modified so that you can add 'html' to them and we also added an "extra" box so that you can add widgets and things to the left side of your profile. What does this mean for you? Well now you can add all kinds of exciting widgets to your website. If you look at the turningpoint profile at www.dtspace.net/turningpoint you will see that the link to the church website is live. To do this you need to have the html string, here is an example, just copy and paste this code but replace the 'yoursite' text with your information.

Use this code to put your own website link on your profile page. You will also notice that there is a rss reader and a gydget on the turningpoint profile, you can all these kinds of things to your profile and it's easy to do. You can add things like games, clocks, calendars, virtual pets, bible verse of the day, quote of the day, news feeds, videos, music... the list goes on and on. You just have to copy the code and paste it into the fields in your 'Edit Profile' area. Here are some sites that you can find thousands of widgets at:
Third, Look out for upcoming Video Tutorials. We are working on a library of simple video tutorials that will help you navigate the site and show you how to get the most out of DTSpace and to update and customize your personal profile.
News in the Groups

There will be a 'Read the bible in a year' group starting soon, look out for it. We have found a widget that automatically updates the reading lesson each day so anyone that joins on any given day can join the group and participate right away without feeling like they have been lost out on anything, they can start with that days reading lesson. Let's all participate in this and have some great discussions from it.
For the group creators, remeber that you can add 'html' to your groups, so you can find some great widgets online to enhance your group experience, calendars, chat widgets so you can hold discussions, count down timers for events, video's, music, audio messages, etc... There are some great additions that you can find online that you simply have to copy and paste into your group that will greatly enhance the users experience.
