i come to you in an effort to surrender myself to God (a challenge of mine) and ask for your prayers.  i graciously request prayers for my growth in practicing james 4:1-10; i need to learn how to a) ask God for what i want; b) practice humility before God and drawing close to him; c) that i feel deep grief and sorrow for my wrongdoings; and d) surrender myself to being solely dependent on Him, not on myself and the world.  i appreciate your love, compassion, and willingness to pray for me.
