I have been really fortunate in my Christian music listening experiences. I have heard a lot of "Christian" artists being played on the radio, and often the lyrics are hollow and the quality of the music itself is poor. While I know that the Bible commands us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, sometimes as a musician I find that the noise of the song distracts me from being really worshipful. I have in my collection, however, some artists who sing a really powerful, worshipful message. Some of them are actually fabulous musicians that i enjoy listening to for the musical apect of their songs as well as their lyrics! Please share your favorite artists so we can all benefit from the gifts God has given them!
