Greetings! My name is Rob Young, and I'm part of the Greater Nashville Church. My band, MY DISGRACE just released our debut CD Rise. Please stop by our myspace page and check it out! If you like what you hear, or know someone who's into this style of music, it is available on our myspace page.

We have worked very hard to present a CD that will hold up when compared to anything in this genre. We do not consider this a Christian band, it is a band of Christians. We do not preach at people in our music, or at our shows. We write songs about life, life's struggles, and how we face them as Christian's. So, please stop by and give us a listen. i hope you like what you hear.

Rob,

This is awesome. I really enjoyed the tracks on Myspace, and will definitely be ordering the CD. I really appreciate you Bro, and can't tell you how greatful I am to be able to listen to my favorite Genre of music without it being a bunch of dark music. My all time favorite band recently reformed (at least the surviving members), with a new name, and I recently bought their new album. I love the music, but at times feel a little guilty at enjoying it so much when I know how dark their music is.I was really wishing for music like theirs, but with a wholesome approach. Keep up the good work!!!

Sweet. Good job Rob. I have actually heard of you guys all the way over here in London so you must be doing pretty well. It's cool that you have that approach to music. I definitely get it, I personally am into a lot of conceptual, 'arty' as they say music like electronica, artrock, classical, etc and I feel that anything I compose is in itself a gift to God... I mean it shows his power that he gave me the ability to create it anyway. A fair bit of my music is actually instrumental, yet I feel it can almost connect me to God more...I mean surely Christian music should be the most varied genre, not the most stereotypical if its meant to glorify God.

Keep it up man,

Alex. :)
