Free and Open Source software discussion that covers many broad topics. For example, we can talk about software that can specifically help a local congregation like WordPress. We could also talk about software that helps connect Christians with Christians like Skype, OpenWengo, and others. We can also just talk about the latest news in Linux or BSD land like the release of KDE 4.0.
If all of this sounds too technical, don't be afraid. We can also get advice on software you may use for church, work or play. For example, we can talk about using Firefox or ask if there is a Free or Open Source program that can perform a certain function.
It is my hope that this can be a resource to help each other with technology as well as just be geeks.
