Friday Evening - Welcoming Reception & Fun @ Dave & Buster's in the Waterfront
Happy Hour --- 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. (D&B's regular event)

Saturday Morning - Singles Devotional & Prayer on Mt. Washington
Time Frame: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
(Meet at viewing plaza near Duquesne or Monongahela Inclines)

Saturday Afternoon - Tour de Pittsburgh (Walking Tours around Pittsburgh Neighborhoods)
Time Frame: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

**Tours will be led by various people from Pittsburgh
Neighborhood Walking Tours:

• Oakland
• Southside
• Strip District
• Lawrenceville
• Nature Hike (Schenley or Frick)

Saturday Evening - Rock the World Benefit Concert for Special Missions
Time Frame: 7:00 - 10:00 p.m., after party from 10:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Location: Rosedale United Methodist Church, Verona

Las Vegas Single's Mission Team

Are you Single?  Do you have a desire to make a difference in our world?

There are approximately 1 million singles living in Las Vegas and the surrounding area!  Forbes magazine just rated Las Vegas the #1 city for Nightlife, #2 city for Coolness, and #9 city for Job Growth Potential. Las Vegas has a huge pull to attract singles, but for many of the wrong reasons.  We are waging war against Satan's lies of gambling, sex, and drugs.  Who will join us and reach out to lost? To join in the fight against Satan in a city that is known for its Sin?

The Greater Las Vegas Single's Ministry is passionate about making a difference in this city and we need your help.  Our Single's Ministry is going to make a difference by serving those in need, wither they are in the church or the community.  We hope the singles we invite, serve, and build friendships with will see we are not another Sunday experience church but a body of believers who live out our faith.   We want our single's ministry to shine like the bright stars of the night! "Our Father" will be our example.

Currently, the Las Vegas Singles' Ministry has twenty one disciples... not impossible to reach out to all the singles here, but some help would be a blessing from heaven.  Our prayer is to grow our Singles' Ministry exponentially by reaching out to all single disciples, young at heart and strong in spirit, who are willing to move to Las Vegas, Nevada.   We desire the singles coming to live out... 

The Simple Way of the Greater Las Vegas Church:

"Through faith, hope and love, The Greater Las Vegas Church live in submission to the reign and rule of Christ in our hearts and lives, as a counter cultural community that humbly, but passionately lives:   

‘Our Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth just as it is in Heaven.'"

Our Prayer for Disciples Choosing to Join Us:

The ideal mission team member has been a disciple for a minimum of 1 year; a current member in good standing with one of the ICOC churches; mature in his/her faith; single; at least 21 years old; able and willing to relocate to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, at their own expense; have reliable transportation; outgoing personality; excellent communication skills; and a strong desire to spread the Word of God everywhere he/she goes.  We are interested in disciples who are fluent in English and another language, preferably Spanish.

Housing:

We are working out the possibility of helping the Mission Team with housing and food for the first couple of months to allow the team time to find work and get acclimated to Las Vegas.

Employment:

This is not a church staff position. The Mission Team members will not be employed by the church. Every Mission Team member is to secure a work within 2 months of moving to Las Vegas.
