We are pleased to announce that the fourth annual Antelope Valley Christian Writers' Conference has been scheduled for May 15-16, 2009 . Whether you're an absolute beginner - a seasoned professional - or somewhere in-between, this may be for you. If you enjoy writing, and you'd like to learn how the publishing business works, you are welcome to attend.
We will meet in the facilities of The Antelope Valley Church, the local congregation of the International Churches of Christ. Our meeting place is in the city of Lancaster, a semi-rural community outside of Los Angeles.
Now more than ever, we in our brotherhood must be able to clearly articulate our beliefs, practices, and convictions. Here at the AV Christian Writers' Conference, our instructors can help you learn how to do exactly that.
As we know, God gives different gifts to different people. For some, they feel called to preach. For others, they travel far and wide as missionaries. Some serve God with music, others with gifts of bookkeeping or teaching or administration. We may have different roles, but we all share the same mission to serve God and his people.
Clearly, writers are a unique breed. For us, the Lord has given us the special gift of putting pen to paper to share a message. We have a passion to take a simple story and build it into a finished product that will inspire others.

We have assembled a blue-ribbon panel of distinguished speakers, who have dozens of books and decades of experience between them. In addition to their own writing ventures, each of them has a ministry dedicated to training new writers.

--Bring your laptop computer and take advantage of our wireless Internet connection.
You will have the opportunity to attend workshops in a wide array of creative categories. You'll meet fellow writers who share your calling - your zeal - and perhaps your frustrations as well. Together, we can help you take your writing to the next level, the best it can be.

This annual event is a fantastic oportunity to have good fellowship and fun together on a special place in God's beautiful creation, the French Alps.
From Saturday March 21st to Saturday March 28th 2009 we enjoy each other's company as we ski and board down the slopes.
The trip is meant for single disciples of 30 years and more. There is space for 8 sisters and 8 brothers.
